New Complete Book of Chart Rectification
Knowing the exact birth time is foundational for the astrologer to delineate the natal chart and/or give an overview of the coming year. The problem is that even in the 21st century, many countries around the world do not record birth time, and family members often provide a generic time such as morning, afternoon, evening, or night. Each of the generic times span 6-hours, so three rising signs are possible in each, and the Moon or other planets may change signs and rulers. Birth time must be more specific, and that is where rectification comes to the
rescue for the trained astrologer to derive the correct birth time that fits the client's biography and major life events.
In this unparalleled book, esteemed astrologer Carol Tebbs makes the rectification process clear and easy to follow from short time ranges to the challenging 24-hour search. Even experienced astrologers need a helping client who provides a solid biography and a list of major life events with dates, and a rating of each event for its importance. Before starting the rectification process to find the Angles, set the chart at the midpoint of the time range to find any planets in a close 1 to 2-degree Ptolemaic aspect. "Aspect Hooks" are a handy tool to align with "Event Hooks" to derive information that fits the biography.
There are many ways to make the rectification process easier by using solid astrological judgment to narrow the time range before testing events to align with appropriate astrological descriptors. Amazingly, the Moon starts the easy train of narrowing time if it straddles two signs. The biography should make that choice clear. For instance, a Scorpio Moon is very different than a Sagittarius Moon. Once one sign is chosen, several hours can be deleted from the search.
Throughout this New rectification book, there are many helpful steps to building an accurate rectified birth time that fits the person. Carol claims that a good rectified birth time brings a client for life. Now that astrologers have clients around the world through Zoom, there is greater demand for accurate birth time.
The NEW Complete Book of Chart Rectification has dozens of examples and techniques, from building a case theory to a final rectified birth time so accurate chart delineation can proceed.

Black Schooner: Rebellion on the Amistad, a Graphic Novel
A stunning graphic history of how enslaved Africans on board the Amistad rebelled and captured the slave ship in 1839, challenging a whitewashed version of history and putting the Africans back at the center of their own freedom story From the trio of Rediker, Lester, and Buhle comes another graphic "history from below" about the Amistad rebellion of 1839 when 53 enslaved Africans on the slave ship Amistad slipped out of their restraints and overpowered their enslavers and ship's crew. Sold into slavery in their homeland of Sierra Leone and later bound for Puerto Príncipe, Cuba, from Havana, these Africans, led by the charismatic warrior Cinqué, forced the ship's remaining crew to sail homeward. Divided into 3 parts, The Black Schooner begins with the intense night of the uprising and takes readers on a reconstructed journey: from sailing on the open ocean to a New Haven, Connecticut, jail, where the captured Africans awaited trial for mutiny and murder; to the Supreme courtroom that found that the rebels had been illegally enslaved and would now be free to return to their native land. Through it all, artist David Lester chronicles their story using striking imagery, showing how they achieved an unexpected and powerful international victory for the abolitionist movement and forced some of the most powerful people in the world to confront the issue of human bondage. Based on Rediker's book The Amistad Rebellion: An Atlantic Odyssey of Slavery and Freedom, The Black Schooner challenges a whitewashed history and instead, puts the Africans back at the center of their own freedom story--where they belong.Sold out -
