Allstora is an independent bookstore built around one idea: every voice belongs on the shelf. We support authors, especially queer and marginalized ones, and we fight book bans by getting books into the hands of people who need them.

Allstora grew out of ShopQueer, an LGBTQ+ bookstore that launched in response to a wave of book bans. Since then the catalog has grown from 3,000 titles to 10 million, with something for every reader. Profits from book sales fund the Rainbow Book Bus, which brings banned books to LGBTQ+ youth in affected states.

ShopQueer became Allstora. The rebrand widened the mission from supporting LGBTQ+ authors and stories to supporting all voices, while keeping the queer bookstore at its heart.

No, at this time we do not offer international shipping. Join our mailing list to find out when we expand into your country.

If you just placed your order, you have 2 hours to follow the link in your confirmation email to change the delivery address. You can also log in and go to My Allstora > My Account, then click on the order from your Order History.

Otherwise, you can update your address by logging in and going to My Allstora > My Account, then View Addresses. Make sure you change the new one to be your Default if necessary!

If your package was lost or stolen, please contact us at info@allstora.com. We'll assist you in locating your package or arranging for a replacement shipment if necessary.

The Rainbow Book Bus is Allstora's nonprofit. It brings diverse books to places facing book bans and censorship, with a focus on LGBTQ+ youth. The bus travels the country, teaming up with local organizations to give away books and get people reading. Learn more about the Rainbow Book Bus here.
