About the Author
About the Author
Emily Hall is a book editor at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. The Longcut, her novel about an artist searching for her work, was published in 2022 by Dalkey Archive. Victoria Semykina is an illustrator and fine artist based in Bologna, where she studied printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2021, she was honored with the Nami Grand Prix and the Andersen Award for the book François Truffaut: The Child Who Lived Cinema. Victoria can often be found seeking inspiration in antique bookshops or browsing through flea markets.
