Set in and around contemporary Nashville, a Silicon Valley and recent Stanford graduate, Bev Dahl, discovers an unusual map that changes only for her, and for nobody else. The map alludes to a vast treasure trove of lost Spanish gold and silver coins. Bev's brief tenure as a Wall Street banker does her no good as she follows this magic map into the longest limestone cave system in the world.

An eccentric brother who dresses like a colonial conquistador and a new Tennessee-lawyer-songwriter-boyfriend help Bev keep on the right track and avoid a greedy older cousin who is hell-bent on stealing the treasure and getting rich no matter what the consequences. The stakes become life or death in the bowels and deep caverns of these uncharted, cold, pitch-black caves.
