At the age of seven, Lindsay Hirst already knew she wanted to be a teacher, and by nine, she wanted to write children's books. She studied Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and, a few years later, completed a postgraduate degree in Primary Education. Lindsey's love of early literacy rekindled her passion for writing, and she has not stopped writing since. - Alice writes and illustrates children's books in her studio at the bottom of the garden in Leamington Spa. In 2015, she gave up book design to pursue her dreams of becoming an illustrator and graduated from the Cambridge School of Arts Children's Picture Book Illustration MA in 2018.
