About the Author

Shuli de la Fuente-Lau (she/her) is a mama, educator, and lover of noodles. She's taught a variety of elementary grades in urban classrooms in California and internationally. She is passionate about the intersection of picture books, identity, and important conversations and is the content creator of the Instagram @AsianLitForKids.
