Sam is happy in his group home. He has friendly housemates and caring staff. Because of cerebral palsy, Sam needs help getting dressed and eating his meals. With the use of his iPad for communication and a wheelchair to get around, Sam is in charge of his life. And he has dreams.

Suddenly, everything changes. Sam's older brother barges into his room for the first time in ten years. Nick is in big trouble. He thinks Sam's trust money can fix his problems. Nick is Sam's legal guardian. He abuses the power to move Sam seven hundred miles away from his home.
