Teach kids about the building blocks of a thriving democracy: practice, teamwork, and a commitment to respecting one another. This is a kids' book about democracy. Sharing information about this system with kids when they are young is an excellent start to understanding, communicating, and using our voices to help others. This book was made to help kids aged 5-9 understand what a democracy is and how it works. Teach them how to look forward to embracing their role as participants in a democratic system - it's never too early to start learning about democracy at home, at school, and for our country! A Kids Book About Democracy features:
- A large and bold, yet minimalist font design that allows kids freedom to imagine themselves in the words on the pages.
- A friendly, approachable, empowering, and child-appropriate tone throughout.
- An incredible and diverse group of authors in the series who are experts or have first-hand experience of the topic.
