After the events that fell upon him in the kingdom of Zalrona in Realm Six, Alexander O'Connor's attempts to live a normal life have failed thus far. He and his best friend, Micheal Barnes, struggle to adjust to their old society after discovering their allusive heritage. While struggling with grief and inner turmoil, Alex continues to have strange nightmares of Lloyd Achlys, the deceased Shadow King of the Inferno Realm.

However, trouble finds him and Micheal when Dark Knights track them to their home realm. Forced to make a hasty escape, Alex and Micheal travel back to Realm Six but find themselves far from Zalrona. While attempting to find a way to their friends in the village of Phoenix, Micheal is gravely injured with a curse from ancient time-the Curse of Chaos.

Alex and his companions are forced to travel with unlikely allies to the healing kingdom of Sealiya in order to save Micheal's life; a crew under the command of pirate captain Kipp Stryker. They will be forced to cooperate with their newfound escorts to keep Micheal alive and sane while keeping both Alex and Micheal hidden from a bounty placed on their heads by King Malum Cantazaro. However, the king is not the only tyrant hunting them.

Threats will be thrown. Tyrants will rise. Magic will prove to have more consequences than previously thought.
