About the Author

Alison Rendall is a born and bred Shetlander who's been surrounded by Shetland knitters since growing up in the early 1970s. A proud supporter of Shetland's heritage, she was named 2023 patron of Shetland Wool Week, a world-renowned celebration of Britain's most northerly native sheep. You might recognize her stunning work through social media (@fair_isle_knitting on Instagram), where tens of thousands of followers keep tabs on her pullover knits, slippers, socks, and more.
