Seven-year-old Valentina and her loving family introduce little readers to Valentina's favorite celebration of the year: the Day of the Dead. Together with her family she visits the cemetery, decorates her home, bakes pan de muerto, listens to her grandfather's singing, and goes to festivals with her sister Sofia.
