"When I started reading the 'Teenage Stories, I just couldn't stop turning the pages. It's some of the best writing I've read in my entire life. It is so compelling, so well-written, so self-disclosing, so traumatizing and challenging, and how she works through it. I thought, 'Holy $#&%, this woman really knows how to write.' Her stories about her mother's dementia, stories about her high heels, pole-dancing, the stories about her restaurant..... everything she writes about, we can all relate to, because it's just so human, it's so what we've all experienced. It's just so interesting. It's good stuff.
