"A botanical renaissance is underway: Homeowners and landscape architects alike are conducting research into indigenous plants and growing strategies in order to work with, not against, the earth. If you want to know more, look no further than AD PRO Directory member Edmund Hollander, who details a few of his recent international gardening projects in this monograph. All are committed to sustainable landscaping ideology, no matter the location." -- ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST PRO "Landscape architect Ed Hollander, founder of Hollander Design Landscape Architects, explores the idea of home as the natural surroundings that people live in: a place of living, changing beauty, refuge, and above all, joy, where family and friends gather to create a lifetime of memories." -- ASPIRE HOME & DESIGN "In his newest book, landscape architect Edmund Hollander presents gardens as vital living spaces that extend the sanctuary of our homes outdoors. Featuring countryside retreats, coastal havens, and city oases, Hollander illustrates a variety of garden styles, each demonstrating the outdoors as a place for refuge and inspiration." -- VERANDA "Eighteen stunning commissions focus on healthy landscapes, earth-friendly planting strategies, and the native or vernacular." -- TRADITIONAL HOME "Our chat came ahead of the release of Ed's new book, The Landscape of Home, published by Rizzoli and available to pre-order from Amazon. The book showcases a selection of Hollander Design's most impressive projects from the past decade. We talked at length about how to extend the concept of home from a house to a backyard, and what it means to work in harmony with the land." -- HOMES & GARDENS "The Landscape of Home: In the Country, By the Sea, In the City is a collection of outdoor projects by New York landscape architect Edmund Hollander, who has been named one of Architectural Digest's AD100 designers. From countryside to rooftop, Edmund shares the essential elements of outdoor garden design." -- AT HOME IN ARKANSAS
